Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum weight capacity for this drafting stool?
The seat supports up to 250 pounds, making it suitable for most average-sized adults. This limit ensures stability during use at a desk or workbench.
Does the chair surface resist stains and spills?
The upholstery is made of black bonded leather, which generally offers better resistance to liquids than fabric. However, it is not fully waterproof, so wiping up spills promptly is recommended to maintain the material.
How high can the seat be adjusted?
The height adjusts from 19.88 inches to 24.92 inches using a pneumatic lift mechanism. This range accommodates various desk heights and user preferences for drafting or computer work.
Are the wheels suitable for hardwood floors?
The stool features dual-wheel casters designed for smooth maneuverability on hard surfaces like wood or tile. For delicate flooring, users should verify if additional floor protectors are needed to prevent scratching.
